Welcome to Greenfoot
Welcome to Greenfoot Consultancy, one of the significant providers of training, development and performance programmes exclusively aimed at improving the green policies of businesses.
Being the first company to be accredited by EEiB (Energy Efficiency in Business), Greenfoot embodies and communicates to other businesses EEiB’s ethos of Save Energy, Save Money, Save the Environment.
EEIB as a leading accreditation body provides independent certification of a company’s desire, knowledge and application of environmental and sustainable practices within its own sphere of activity. Greenfoot works in conjunction with EEiB to give the hands on approach to finding ways in which companies can reduce energy usage and in doing so save money.
In today’s changing world green issues are increasingly becoming ever present in all areas of society. With the Kyoto agreement coming to an end in 2012 the Act on CO2 Copenhagen conference to be held in December 09 will no doubt aim to reduce carbon emissions even more. For this reason EEiB are offering accreditation to businesses to show that they are trying to reduce their carbon footprint and in doing so helping the planets environment and climate.
The UK’s governments Low Carbon Transition Plan calls for ten percent of the required annual emissions cut between now and 2020 to come from greater energy efficiency in the workplace, and reducing the amount of carbon you emit is one of the fastest, most effective ways to save your business money. This is where Greenfoot can help with trained Energy Specialists delivering EEiB developed training and EcoChecks aimed at helping a company to reduce their energy wastage.

Time to act on climate change...
Steve Macnauton, marketing director for the Greenfoot Organisation, speaking at the GFO launch said: ‘the clock is now ticking, and more and more companies are responding to the Government’s low carbon policies. Employees too, are looking to companies to adopt more ethical policies on the green issues, such as energy consumption and waste.
‘The climate change is impacting small and large companies alike, and people are beginning to throw their weight behind the fact that together we can and will make a difference,’ he added. |
